Cockatoos are widely regarded as a vocal, fun-loving
suburban pest.

Rumour has it that they don't think much of koalas, the
popular, yet shy marsupial with which they share this
continent.  Probably jealousy.

Cockatoos can live more than 100 years.  So if that certain
cockatoo is getting under your skin it could be hereditary;
your great-grandmother too, may have been bugged by
it all those years ago!
